This is the last weekend to get the bonus letterbox with the Apples for
the Apple Pie Letterbox in Stow, MA. They stop selling pies on Sunday.
Saturday is the best day to get it - there's also a fair going on!

By finding the box with the clues in it that point you to the bonus

clues are in the Apple Pie box in Stow, MA. ;)

Shouldn't it be a secret though, not something
somebody tells you about. I would think the thrill of
a bonus is that you are not expecting it

Well, Ms Dragonfli, I get your point, but in this formless (in appearance to the newbie) universe of LB'ing things are out there that until you see them, or someone explains, you just may not have quite figured out.
Case in point - not having known about this site, I stumbled upon a HH early in my travels (Maine Vacationer, beautifully rendered by Holster-oo) and barely a clue what to do. I only guessed - correctly for once - that I should take it because I read what were then cryptic entries at some CC boxes that a someone had dropped off and later picked up a hitchhiker.
I see your point about not ruining the bonus, for the puposes of following the fascinating threads on this site however, the additional info is helpful.
Regards,
HtP
BTW - I've seen your stamp a bit in Andover, MA recently. Did you hit some of Rock Art micros on Monday? I was in Cochran Woods last night finding Kokopelli and realized I just missed you I think. I couldn't find the N.Andover one though. Did you?

I wasn't being fresh, just really thought we weren't
supposed to give away secrets. I remember that
someone else got reprimanded for mentioning where they
put a HH :)
And yes I have been perusing Andover for Boxes.
Having just started myself on the 12th of September I
am a huge fan of Choi's. I have 5 of his Rock Art
stamps (including a first find and a Hitch Hiker) and
2 other boxes he placed. (Keep up the good work
Choi!!!)
I have not made it out to look for the North Andover
one, but will drop you a line if I find it or not.
P0 F12 X0 Ewill be one after Saturday!

Ms. Dragonfly,
Please know that I took no offense - in review, my formality may
have seemed as if I did. I agree about Choi. RA Bear Claw was
beautiful particularly. As I live in Andover, I look forward to finding
the rest.
Warmly,
HtP
ps- if you haven't yet gone there, Due North is a pretty nice LB in
Andover.
